Belconnen Arts Centre Inclusion Award

Eligibility: Applicants must: • identify as living with disability, physical, sensory or intellectual or as having experienced mental illness; • be actively pursuing a practice in any art form including; dance, music, theatre, visual arts, writing, hybrid/interdisciplinary arts, screen arts and multi-media; • be available to take up a 4 week residency located in the in the Arts Lounge, Belconnen Art Centre in November/December 2017; and • be an Australian citizen or permanent resident. About the Award: The successful applicant will receive: • $2000 ( which may be used as a stipend, to facilitate access or for direct project costs); and • Use, at no cost, of the Arts Lounge Space at Belconnen Arts Centre for a period of four weeks in November/December 2017. The Arts Lounge space may be used as a project, work, rehearsal, exhibition, performance space or for other purposes specified in the application. Applicants must include a statement of intention or proposal for use of the Arts Lounge space in their application.
